  • Helped the company grow 140% in four months by managing the talent acquisition life cycle, i.e., writing and position descriptions, scheduling interviews, maintaining relationships with third-party recruiters, sending follow-up communications, and finalizing hire paperwork).

  • Researched, implemented, and managed the online talent acquisition platform, JazzHR.

  • Managed the new hire onboarding to include profile creation, data entry, systems access, and company orientation/high-level training.

  • Managed the payroll process for FTEs, contractors, and hourly, and international team members.

  • Processed invoices for payment from vendors and purchase request orders from employees.

  • The transitioned team, accounts, and files to a new Google Workspace and serve as IT administrator on enterprise accounts.

  • Researched, populated, launched, and managed two separate HRIS systems (one for the U.S. and another for international team members).

  • Researched and drafted policies (e.g., unlimited PTO, reimbursement policy, equipment policy, and inclusive workplace code of conduct).

  • Developed and implemented marketing plans to tell a cohesive narrative, enhance, and expand brand awareness and engagement.

  • Brought to life the marketing plan by creating stories that reach a variety of stakeholders (e.g., students, donors, politicians, etc.) 

  • Redesigned the website for better user experience, streamlined content and access, and improved back-end management.

CNSI Marketing Communications Manager | Aug. 2015 - Aug. 2020

  • Managed the content, design, schedule, and distribution methods of employee communications related to the COVID-19 pandemic, quarantine, and return-to-work policies.

  • Developed an internal communications strategy and content calendar in collaboration with and support of CNSI’s Corporate Strategy and Corporate Calendar respectively.

  • Created a robust, expansive communications plan in support of the company’s first Employee Engagement Survey that resulted in a “Participation Rate” of 93%. This exceeded the average “First Time” participation rate of 72%. The results had the survey company double-checking to see if there was an error in the data.

  • Sourced, demoed, implemented, and successfully launched a new employee intranet and communication tool via Dynamic Signal. The project was delivered on time, under budget, and with a 98% adoption rate by employees within the first month.

  • Managed the company’s cadence of communications as it relates to various programs, including—but not limited to— weekly intranet updates, weekly digital display updates, monthly newsletters, monthly managers’ meetings, monthly techTALKS, quarterly Town Halls, etc.

  • Developed diverse communication channels, e.g., intranet, social media, print, digital screens, and email as the appropriate means for communicating with staff.

  • Created a framework of clear and effective employee communications on a broad variety of topics to create a sense of shared purpose that is relevant to the working lives of all staff.

  • Worked collaboratively with the other members of the Marketing Communications team to ensure internal and external messaging is consistent and leveraged across mediums.
